Who is Sorge?

Antonio Sorgiavanni or as he is commonly known "Sorge", is an accomplished hair stylist/designer and the inventor of the Ribbon Technique which thickens hair beyond 33%.

Sorge has represented Australia in the World Hairdressing Festival Championships, was First place winner in the International Festival Championships held in Thailand 1994, 96 and 1996, 98. Previously ranked number 2 in the international rankings. Honored Grand Class Champion for APCA International Association Hair Olympics 2000 and 2002

Sorge’s technique is now globally documented and recognised by the CMC (Confederation Mondiale de la Coiffure), and CAT which is the confederation for Artistic and Technical, being a subsidiary of CMC.

2002 Team stage leader for Australia and winner of the “most Progressive Creative Theme” award, and 4th in Outstanding Cutting Style, in Naples, Italy.

Sorge has had extensive experience in salon management, motivation, training and developing innovative techniques which constantly push the boundaries of hair styling and design.

He now brings to the industry his Ribbon technique, amongst other razor cutting techniques, which has impressed many industries piers and mentors.
